Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Uptura Inc. ("Uptura", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit https://uptura.io (the "Site") and use Uptura (the "Service"). Uptura is a website operations platform available in public beta.
By using the Site or submitting your information to us, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information we collect
We collect only the information we need to operate the Site and keep you informed about Uptura:
- Account details: the name, email address, and password you provide when you create an account, plus the sites and monitors you add to the Service.
- Usage data: standard analytics such as pages visited, referring URLs, browser type, device type, and approximate location, collected to understand how the Site is used.
- Cookies and similar technologies: small files used to run the Site and, with your consent where required, to power analytics, as described below.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and operate your account, run your monitors, and send you alerts and service emails.
- Respond to your questions and support requests.
- Understand and improve how the Site performs and which features matter most.
- Protect the Site against fraud, abuse, and security threats.
3. Analytics and cookies
We use analytics tools to understand how the Site is used and to improve it. This includes Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites, and Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects aggregated, non-identifying information about your visit.
Because Google Analytics is not essential to running the Site, we only load it after you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner. You can decline, or change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Site — such as keeping you signed in — are always active and do not require consent.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate the Site and communicate with you — such as hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers — and only to the extent needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Uptura and others.
5. Data retention
We keep account and contact information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or until you ask us to delete it. Aggregated analytics data may be retained for longer in a form that does not identify you.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can exercise any of these rights by contacting us at the address below.
7. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
10. Contact us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, email us at upturahq.io@gmail.com.
